It’s honestly worth just perusing through the website to see if they have something you’re looking for (they probably do), but here are our top three highlights amidst all the offerings.

Looking for some high-quality powder or touring skis? It’s your lucky weekend. The Ferox Freebird Skis from Black Crows provide incredible performance through deep (and even relatively heavy) snow conditions, with a light enough weight to allow for strong on-piste performance and painless uphill travel.

If you’re in the market for a backcountry board, it’s hard to find a more fun option than the Lib Tech Orca. This splitboard—which is completely different from the regular Orca snowboard—offers a light, contoured footprint that allows for incredible powder sailing and easy uphill skinning.

This product typically commands a steep $1,200 asking price, but at least through this weekend, it’s down to just $600 on REI. This board is still expensive—and probably isn’t the best choice for performance if you’re not touring regularly—but if you’re a snowboarder and you’ve been looking to re-up your out-of-bounds setup, now might be the perfect time to snatch this baby up.

Our hypothesis is that REI just way overstocked on these and did not properly estimate the demand amongst their clientele (while REI does carry high-quality gear, they’re not known for the ultra-luxury build these Earlybirds bring).

These, along with the more powder-oriented Jackdaw 108 skis, are handmade skis designed for touring. And at just $373 for these two-season-old designs, they offer basically unheard-of value for such finely produced equipment.
